I woke up this morning and looked in on the Robin Family and all were gone but one. I went and got the camera and look who was there, no one. The babies were getting fairly big and look like they barely fit in the nest. Two seemed to be a crowd. I 'm glad we were able to see nature at work. This is one thing I hope made an impression on the kids. While saying that I kind of was thinking "how it will be when the kids leave their "nest"?

A couple years ago a robin built a nest in the bush outside our bathroom window. They didn't seeim to mind us watching from the other side of the glass. It was so fun to see them build it, sit on it, meet the babies, watch them grow, coming back and forth with worms and food, and then watch them leave. They come back every year, not sure it's the same ones, but every year it's such a treat.
