This was an amazing day. Last night we had a big storm come by. The winds and rain were crazy. Geoff got up this morning and checked on the Robin family. We were sad to know that the tree had fell over almost. He noticed that there were two chicks on the ground. He asked me to help him tie the tree up for the hope they could be safe. I was looking under the tree and found the two chicks. I noticed that one was moving and the other wasn't. I picked up the little live babe and put it in the nest hoping that the mommy would be ok with me holding her child, and would accept it after all it had just went through. We tied the tree up to stand tall, soaked all we could say was wow. Later that day, Tori wanted to bury the chick and I let her. She was sad but knew that the mommy tried all that she could.

Later on we had the view of mommy and Daddy feeding their chicks. To take these pictures I had to stand on the chair for about 10-15 mins. Mommy and Daddy were very cautious. I didn't want to scare them and have them abandon the babies. I was very worried about the one that was saved.
